This is the first album that Wata performs lead vocals throughout. It sounds pretty good, though it’s another step away from the general sound of their discography (New Album being the first step away).
Download (I think this is also a webrip from the NPR stream)
Missing Pieces and Aileron are the two stand-out tracks for me, and the rest is good but not great. I don’t particularly like the way Takeshi sings now, he always sounded better before New Album. I have this tagged as ‘Heavy Rocks II’ to avoid confusion and overwriting the previous album of the same name.
Download (I’m pretty sure this is a webrip of the stream on NPR that I posted a link to before, but the quality is not bad.)
minnski asked: I'm gonna have to tell you that Jare&VilleGalle sing mostly about ice hockey x) and sports in general... and partying and snussing. And they're so great!!!
That’s cool I guess. Who doesn’t like those things?
Punk rock is the best way I can think to describe this, but it’s more mellow than a lot of punk. The vocals are sung in french and are as easy for someone who doesn’t speak french to listen to as I can imagine. All in all, it’s just over a half hour long, and easily worth downloading.
